Many different versions of the punching system exist. Hydraulic, hydramechanical, and air driven. The two mechanical rams use a flywheel driven by an electric motor to develop tonnage. In a hydramechanical system a small hydraulic pump delivers oil to a solenoid which when activated causes the clutch to engage generating a punch cycle.
Newer machines primarily use hydraulic cylinders with smart controllers to punch.

We sell them individually for your convenience. Keep in mind the outer disk in the PAK is normally ground to adjust the thickness of the PAK. Do not replace this without grinding to makeup original thickness. Typically just replace worn disks within the PAK or pads that have been damaged.
