Ballscrews & Bearings

The Ballscrew transfers the motion from the servomotor to the moving components of the system.  The Ballscrew is designed to be extremely accurate requiring regular cleaning, and lubrication to maintain accuracy.  Precision beaings used throughout the machine require precise installation techniques for proper function.  Bearing are locked to the shaft using a "Hug Nut"  these are meant to be used ONCE only.  Reusing the locknut will cause premature failure of the system.
