WARNING: THIS PROCEDURE INVOLVES VERY HIGH PRESSURE HYDRAULIC ELEMENTS. IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE CALL FOR HELP. Turn Power OFF to machine. Wait 5 minutes for fluid to return to tank. bleed any pressure from old unit by depressing Schraeder valve (bicycle tube valve) on top of unit. Remove retaining strap. unscrew old Accumulator being careful not to damage fitting as you will reuse it. Inspect seal ,replace if damaged. clean top of manifold. Screw new Accumulator onto manifold. Again careful not to damage ALUMINUM threads. Tighten and secure with clamp. It may be necessary to rework the bracket to fit as there are a few versions that have been on this unit with the same part numbers. DO NOT RUN MACHINE WITHOUT A RETAINING BRACKET. THE VIBRATION COULD CAUSE IT TO UNSCREW RESULTING IN PERSONNEL OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE. Charge unit with NITROGEN about 600-650 PSI. If you don't have a charge kit I do have one I will rent out on a weekly basis. My number CNC 2746.
